I think it is important to broaden the music that I play and I’m hugely grateful to the Brereton Fund for helping me uncover a new repertoire which I would not have otherwise been able to explore. Since receiving this grant, every recital I have given has featured a piece of music by Judith Bingham and I am thrilled to be performing Judith Weir’s ‘Wild Mossy Mountains’ in the Senior Category of the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition in Armagh this August. None of this would have been possible without the support of the Brereton Fund.
