I used my bursary to attend Oundle for Organist courses in Oundle and Oxford. Attending the courses was a crucial step in my development. I do not know if my parents could have funded the course without support of the Brereton Fund.

I studied at the Royal College of Music (BMus) and Royal Holloway (MMus) and had a busy freelance career in London for ten years. This included playing recitals at St Paul's, Norwich, Brentwood, and Bradford cathedrals as well as accompanying choirs, teaching the choristers at Temple Church, and much more.

I relocated to Germany in 2021 where I give recitals, teach, and play liturgically. I am always trying to bring new music to audiences including pieces from outside the Western Classical epoch and music composed by women.
