We used our bursary to buy music and resources to develop our new Christian Community Choir and other musical activities. We increased the repertoire for the choir thanks to the resources we acquired.

Since our funding, the community choir has attracted a wide range of singers. As well as singing at church events the choir has performed at local civic events e.g. for World Peace Day, and we have held several Come & Sing events both traditional and, most recently, Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell — which have been very popular.

The choir is now well-established and providing a good service to the local area and for the singers who join us, both occasionally and regularly.
